Thank you for using Rooted, our mobile application designed to support your spiritual growth journey. This Privacy Policy applies when you use the Rooted app, visit our website, or communicate with us via email, in-app support, or social media channels.
This Privacy Policy describes: the types of personal information we collect and why; how we use your information; who we share it with; your rights; and how we protect your information.
BY USING THE SERVICES, YOU CONSENT TO THE COLLECTION, USE, AND PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. We may update this Policy periodically and will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email.

We may share information within the Plexodev LLC corporate group for technical operations, legal compliance, and product development. All affiliated entities are contractually bound to handle your data per this Policy.
We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process. We will notify you where legally permitted and will challenge overly broad requests.
In the event of a merger or acquisition, we will notify you before data transfer, ensure successor entities maintain equivalent protections, and give you the opportunity to request deletion where applicable.
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. We retain personal information as long as necessary to provide Services, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
If you delete your account, we will deactivate it and remove your data from active systems, subject to fraud prevention and legal retention requirements.

Rooted is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@plexodev.com and we will promptly delete the information.
For users between 13 and 17, we apply additional care in handling personal information and limit data-intensive features.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including:
No security system is impenetrable. In the event of a breach affecting your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.
Rooted may contain links to third-party websites, Bible APIs, or external content. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas have additional privacy rights. These rights include the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, and non-discrimination. Contact privacy@plexodev.com to submit a request.
We process your personal information with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA). You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
Rooted is not yet available in the EU or UK. When we launch in those regions, a complete GDPR/UK DPA Addendum will be published at rooted.plexodev.com/privacy-eu.
When available in the EEA or UK, we will process data in accordance with GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. EU/UK residents will have the right to lodge complaints with their local supervisory authority.
Rooted is not yet available in Africa. When we expand to African markets, this section will be updated with country-specific notices.
We will comply with applicable national laws including Nigeria (NDPA 2023), South Africa (POPIA), Kenya (Data Protection Act 2019), and Ghana (Data Protection Act 2012).
