Rooted is more than an app — it's a community of believers journeying together. Whether you're sharing a prayer request, celebrating an answered prayer, studying Scripture together, or offering encouragement on the Prayer Wall, you are part of a sacred space.

These guidelines exist to protect that space and ensure Rooted remains a place where every believer — regardless of denomination, background, or season of faith — feels welcomed, safe, and valued.

Every interaction on Rooted should reflect these principles:

Speak as you would to a fellow member of the Body of Christ.

Grace

Extend patience and understanding, especially in disagreement.

Share with honesty and theological humility.

Celebrate what unites us while respecting our differences.

What We Encourage

Share genuine prayer requests and faith testimonies
Offer encouragement, Scripture, and hope to others
Engage in respectful discussions about theology and Scripture
Celebrate answered prayers and share your spiritual journey
Support others through difficult seasons with compassion
Invite people to pray with you and for you
Share devotional insights and Scripture reflections
Speak with love even when you disagree with another's perspective

What Is Not Permitted

Harassment, bullying, mockery, or personal attacks of any kind
Content that is sexually explicit, violent, or graphically disturbing
Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, or any other characteristic
Proselytizing to abandon Christianity or promoting non-Christian religions as superior
Sharing false, misleading, or manipulative theological claims as absolute fact without context
Spam, solicitations, advertisements, or self-promotion
Sharing personal information of others without their consent
Impersonating pastors, religious leaders, or other users
Content that glorifies or encourages harmful behavior
Persistent divisive denominational arguments intended to create conflict

Prayer Wall Standards

The Prayer Wall is a sacred space. Additional standards apply:

Share prayer requests with sincerity — this is not a place for debate
When praying for someone, keep your response focused on lifting them up
Respect the vulnerability of those sharing — treat requests with confidentiality and care
Celebrate and acknowledge answered prayers to build collective faith

Use prayer requests as a platform to criticize, advise against, or challenge others
Share another person's request from outside the app without their permission
Respond to prayer requests with theological lectures or unsolicited doctrinal arguments

Theological Discussions

Rooted serves believers across many Christian traditions. Healthy theological discussion is welcome. However:

Engage in theological conversation with humility, acknowledging your own fallibility
Use "I believe" or "In my tradition" rather than speaking for all Christians
Present different views charitably before responding to them

Declare that those who disagree with your theological position are not saved
Use community features to conduct aggressive denominational debates
Dismiss or demean another believer's faith tradition

Reporting and Enforcement

If you see content that violates these guidelines:

Use the in-app "Report" feature to flag content for review
Contact us at community@plexodev.com for serious violations
Do not engage with or amplify harmful content — simply report it

Our moderation team reviews reports and may take the following actions depending on severity:
